One of my passions is my community choir Jacaranda Jam. Over the last few years we have grown together from only a handful of people to a group of over 20 regulars. There is nothing I love more when I'm out the front there than to see the enjoyment and fulfillment on their faces at the end of a song, or afterwards, the sound of laughter and the excited 'buzz' of voices from a group of people who now share much more than singing together.
This joy that we have found together is something that we have decided to share with our community. To this end we are holding our first 'Supper 'n Sing' evening with a Christmas in July theme. We are hoping that this will become a regular evening of music, song, food and laughter that we can share with friends and family and the community on a whole. Our first Supper 'n Sing will be held on the evening of Saturday July 28th. You can find out more about the event or our choir at the new choir Facebook page Jacaranda Jam Community Choir or you can email me at angela@soulsinging.com.au.
Here are a couple of pics of our lovely bunch from a recent open session that was part of the Making Music Well Being program held on 22nd May. As you can see we do a lot of smiling...
